Starting off, I recorded a Notion How-Tos series overview that break down complex processes into manageable steps. The video is now live now! Check it out and see what’s in store. ​ 🎓 Weekly Learning ExclusiveToday’s learning exclusive is a simple one, but it's one of my favorites. You can even use these tips together! First off, did you know you can open a page in a new tab when you hold CTRL and click a link? Probably. Well, did you know you can open a Notion page in side peek when you hold ALT and click on it? Maybe... But what about this one? Did you know you can type @ and mention any other Notion page? I'm betting so. Then why is this such a big deal? It's because there's you can do all of them together or whenever you need. Want to see a page side by side. There you go. I do these 3 steps pretty much daily:
You now have both pages you want to see side by side. Voila!! Simple but effective. It all adds up. ​ 📢 AnnouncementsThere’s always something new happening in the Notion space, and this week’s updates are worth your attention: Notion has experienced phenomenal growth over the years. Take a look at this chart showing user growth from 2017 to 2024. It’s mind-blowing! And remember, Notion has more hidden features than your annual Easter Egg hunt. One of the not talked about features is that you can use the Save Chart feature directly in Notion to export clean charts with just a few clicks. Forget moving everything into Canva. Check out this clean, ready-to-go chart below: ​ ​ There are a lot of hidden gems in Notion. It's my goal to help those see the light of day. Take a behind the scenes look at the projects we have going. ​ 🚀 Project UpdatesAs a reminder, we're in a startup space. Notion is a new company that's growing faster than nearly any technology. To help keep you updated, I outlined a 5-Stage plan that stretches until 2026. Stages 1 and 2 focus on Notion for Individuals and Notion for Businesses, but the details for Stages 3 through 5? Well, that’s going to remain a mystery for now. Stay tuned for some surprises! These are the major project updates this week ​ 1. Automation & GPT Mapping I’ve been mapping out some high-impact GPT flows that will take your productivity to another level. Whether you’re a solo operator or working with a team, AI will make your life a lot easier. Here are some charts to visualize how custom GPTs and ChatGPT chats are being used across different areas of my workflow: If you're not using CustomGPTs to speed up your admin work, you're missing out. I save a wild amount of time not doing repetitive work and will be showing you how to as well. You don't need to use AI as intense as you see in the media. That's for tech CEOs and researchers. I'll show you how AI is there to make work more enjoyable and quicker. These are the chats I've save in Notion for instant recall. ​ 2. Notion Workshop Prep For those attending the Intro to Notion Workshop on October 16th, I’ll be sending out a resource list after the session to help you act on what you’ve learned.
